Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee Tool has officially unveiled its latest innovation in outdoor power equipment: the MX FUEL™ Backpack Blower, a cordless solution built to outperform traditional gas-powered units in both force and convenience.
Designed specifically for professional landscapers and contractors, the MX FUEL™ Backpack Blower delivers 800 CFM, 190 MPH, and up to 30 Newtons of blowing force—surpassing the output of most 63cc gas blowers on the market. This release expands Milwaukee’s growing MX FUEL™ Equipment System, which aims to replace gas and corded equipment with high-performance, battery-powered alternatives.

The blower operates at a sound level of just 64 dB(A), meeting emerging local noise ordinance requirements. That makes it especially suited for early morning or urban use where noise restrictions are in effect.

Users can toggle between three power modes—low, medium, and high—depending on the task at hand. The MX FUEL™ Backpack Blower also features ONE-KEY™ compatibility, allowing users to adjust settings remotely, lock performance modes, track tool usage and location, and manage inventory—all via the ONE-KEY™ app.
Runtime and Flexibility
When powered by the MX FUEL™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE™ HD12.0 battery, the tool delivers:
- 20 minutes of trigger time on High Mode (800 CFM, 30 Newtons)
- 30 minutes on Medium (700 CFM, 23 Newtons)
- 45 minutes on Low (600 CFM, 17 Newtons)
These runtimes reflect continuous trigger use, with longer operational time expected in real-world applications where users intermittently engage the throttle.
Ergonomic and Adjustable Design
The new blower features a fully adjustable harness, telescoping nozzle, and adjustable handle position to maximize user comfort and control. Milwaukee also emphasized modularity—this blower is fully compatible with all tools in the MX FUEL™ System, now featuring 25+ equipment solutions.
