Milwaukee Tool continues to expand its lineup of high-performance cordless tools with the introduction of the M18™ FUEL™ #10 (1-1/4″) Rebar Cutter and corresponding #10 Rebar Cutting Blade. Designed for reinforcing ironworkers, concrete crews, and general contractors, the new cutting system is optimized for speed, control, and durability — offering a safer, more efficient alternative to traditional abrasive wheel cutters.
This latest addition to the M18™ FUEL™ platform is engineered to deliver cleaner cuts with fewer sparks, reducing jobsite hazards and boosting productivity in steel rod cutting tasks.
High-Speed, High-Efficiency Cutting
The M18™ FUEL™ Rebar Cutter features a POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor spinning at 2,000 RPM, providing 2-second cuts on #5 rebar and the muscle to slice through #10 rebar (1-1/4″) with ease. A built-in RAPIDSTOP™ brake system stops the blade in under a second, adding a critical safety layer for the operator.
Intelligent Power and Long Runtime
Powered by Milwaukee’s REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence, the tool maintains peak performance under load, while protecting the motor and battery system. When paired with a High Output XC6.0 battery, users can expect up to 240 cuts per charge on #5 rebar, making it a viable solution for all-day productivity in demanding jobsite conditions.
Purpose-Built Rebar Cutting Blade
Launching alongside the tool is the Milwaukee® #10 Rebar Cutting Blade, designed exclusively for the M18™ FUEL™ Rebar Cutter. Featuring Cermet-tipped carbide teeth, the blade cuts through rebar, threaded rod, and black iron pipe cleanly—delivering less spark, longer blade life, and reduced heat generation compared to abrasive options. The blade is available individually or in contractor packs of five or ten.
Comfort and Safety at the Forefront
The rebar cutter is equipped with a 3-position anti-vibration side handle for improved control and reduced operator fatigue during extended use. A Cut-Brake system helps protect surrounding materials by automatically stopping the blade once a cut is complete. Additional features include an on-board hex wrench for blade changes, a tether-ready attachment point, and an integrated LED work light for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
Fully Compatible with M18™ System
Like all tools in the M18™ FUEL™ lineup, the new rebar cutter is compatible with the entire M18™ battery platform, now consisting of over 275 tools designed to run on a single cordless system.
